Economic development and employment
In developing countries, chances and threats to construct a decent life are concentrated in the urban areas. Those who want to withdraw themselves, are searching there way through the urban jungle.

Focused improvements of employment, training and professional education can enable these people to establish economic independence.

Intervolve makes these efforts through widely arranged initiatives and by supporting others in order to contribute to stopping the spiral of poverty. Especially in urban areas, Intervolve perceives the stimulation of employment, to obtain and improve professional qualifications and the encouragement enterprising as a primair condition for development. We are therefore looking for a consistency between pratical measures and sustainable solutions, with an integral, programmatic approach as a guideline. Our focus areas are:


1.The stimulation of employment

a.Employment in favour of developmental projects.
b.Creating new jobs with regional or local opportunities as a basic assumption.


2.Initiating vocational and practical training

a.Composing eduaction plans for employment.
b.Professional training (on the job) for developmental projects.
c.Infrastructure for professional training.


3.Stimulating entrepreneurship and initiating business development

a.Stimulating of new enterprise through training and information.
b.Initiating infrastructure in order to stimulate new enterprise.
c.Programme to stimulate micro-business.
d.Professionalising and stimulating existing innovative commerce.


4.Improving local business climate

a.Improvement of local infrastructure.
b.Establishing small-scale business centres.
c.Instruments of financing in order to stimulate employment.

 
Our method is focused on connecting knowledge and creativity of those who are directly involved, to that of  (inter)national experts and to link economy and other sectors.
