The company
Strikolith is in the Netherlands determining the character of facade or ceiling finish. Its products for the professional market are user- and environment friendly.

 

The cooperation with Intervolve
The partnership between Intervolve and Strikolith is already in existence for several years. It is shaped in financial and practical support. Strikolith’s involvement with the work of Intervolve is large. This also shows in the company’s various forms of communication. It expresses the social responsibility for developing countries and the wish to contribute to a better future.

 

The results
In 2004 Strikolith financially contributed to the building of the market hall in East London (South Africa). The founder and general director of Strikolith (mr. J.A.C. van Strien) officially opened the market hall named after him (see below picture). Later on a study was executed to investigate the possibility for setting up a paint factory in East London. The result was that for the time being it was not possible.
From 1995 onwards Strikolith no longer gives her employees a traditional Dutch Christmas present. The amount of money saved with this is topped up with the income of the annual Christmas campaign. This full amount is given to Intervolve projects.
Every year the director(s) of Strikolith are invited to our annual meeting in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam.
